an accomplished, professional, senior-level Visual & UX designer. I’ve worked in print and web design for over 16 years, with a strong focus on the practice and methodologies of User Centered Design. I have extensive experience leading design for innovative, world-class, consumer/user friendly web sites and applications, creating usable and accessible designs, and conducting user research and testing.

For the past 3 years, I have been working as a UX design consultant for UBS Bank AG, leading the UX/UI/Visual design for Investment Bank, FXMM consolidated web and mobile products. These efforts include researching and gathering user/market requirements across integrated asset class sections, gaining in-depth knowledge of the foreign exchange currencies market, designing and prototyping complex data systems UI, and directing visual design, information architecture, and user experience for UBS FX Trader Plus web and mobile applications.

I worked with Netflix from 2005 – 2008, leading the visual and interaction design for several business areas, including our online instant watching site and service, ratings & recommendations, DVD purchase store, movie/site search, and movie queue. I was with eMusic.com from 2000 – 2004. Originally brought on as a graphic designer and producer, I moved into the Senior Designer/Creative Director position, overseeing two complete redesigns of the website and a team of 4 designers. I led the visual implementation and ongoing design updates for over 4 years, working with the editorial team to design and produce highly creative, effective, and compelling visual presentations for feature content. more…

Hearts of Space : Senior Graphic Artist : info
I was employed at Hearts of Space records from mid 1997 – 2000. During my time there, I designed and produced the packages and covers for numerous CDs, along with associated promotional materials. I also designed my first website: the redesign and relaunch of the Hearts of Space records and radio site, which launched in early 2000 (when table layouts and animated GIFs were de rigueur!).
